I live in pursuit of making beautiful things. 

My first call to cultivate beauty came many years ago when I was a stay-at-home mom. Preserving and nurturing my children's innate and beautiful spirits became job one. I needed a lot of help with that, and fortunately, there were many books available about conscious parenting and raising a whole child. I immersed myself, to my own betterment and the benefit of my children. Today, I'm an oil painter and often work outside. It's where I bask in nature's beauty and translate it with color and brush. Most days, it's heaven on earth. Seven Circles of Light: How They Were Born and What They Became is my first children's book, and is the natural culmination of these broader experiences. In it, I have paired loving and nurturing words with delightful pictures to create a beautiful story for children that encourages them to find happiness by following their innate desires, to find comfort in kindred spirits and to remember the magical and restorative power of nature.
